The Loons Nest on Gull

The Loons Nest is a 5 Bed 5 Bath townhome in the Causeway on Gull Resort near Nisswa MN.

It's absolutely HUGE for a townhome at 3,250 Sq Ft with Five Beds and Five Baths. Complete with two master bedrooms!

Newly built in July 2021, The Loons Nest is the perfect home to host multiple families with plenty of space for everyone to spread out over all three levels.

The resort has both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs and a sauna house at the outdoor pool.  A short stroll down the wooded trail behind the unit takes you past your private fire pit on to the indoor pool building and the Causeway Clubhouse with a selection of arcade games plus ping pong and foosball.

The home rental also includes a dedicated boat slip on Gull Lake.  There is plenty of room for trailer parking in the overflow lot next to our building so you'll have plenty of room to park your boat or snowmobile trailers right at the unit.  If you need to rent a boat there are two options right on-site with YourBoatClub and LakeFunRentals and several others nearby.  You can get anything from a fishing boat or performance tri-toon to jet skis.  There are also many off-site rental businesses where you can get boats or ATVs to enjoy the northland.

This Loons Nest is the personal family cabin of our good friends Eric and Hailey and they have gone above and beyond in furnishing the unit with all the comforts of home and extras to make your stay a step above your typical resort rental.  The kitchen is fully loaded, games and puzzles galore, acoustic guitar, books, maps and all kinds of entertainment for evenings and rainy days. The home also has Six Smart TVs waiting for you to enter in your login info so you can access all your favorite shows and rent/stream a family moving after the sun goes down.

Eric has also gone out of his way to fill the garage with firewood and classic beach cruiser bicycles for you to zip down to Zorbaz on or take across the causeway over to Bar Harbor for cocktails. 

We are set in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes area.  The Location is awesome!

The Causeway on Gull Resort amenities you can use include indoor and outdoor pools with hot tubs and sauna, the resort has tennis courts, basketball, and pickleball courts, sand volleyball an updated workout facility, multiple game rooms, and arcade games, ping pong, foosball, and a lakeside clubhouse.

The Loons nest is one of only six units in the Causeway on Gull resort not tied into the timeshare program giving our guests short-term rental stays with access to all the resort amenities you want like a boat slip, multiple swimming pools, hot tubs, and outdoor activities.

Booking Process:
No matter if you are booking directly through our website or via 3rd party platforms like VRBO or Airbnb, you will need to pay 50% down at the time of making the reservation.  This downpayment is fully refundable up to two weeks prior to your stay.  The remaining 50% due will be automatically charged to your credit card two weeks prior to check-in.  Once paid in full, you will receive an online check-in form to complete.  It's a quick two-minute form that when completed will get you access to your check-in instructions with directions, your front door code, wi-fi info, etc.  That's it. When it's time for your trip, you won't be wasting valuable vacation time at a front desk waiting to check in.  Just hit the road and head straight to your unit.
